Department of Public & International Affairs
Scholars in our department work towards a common vision: a public sector that benefits the public interest by considering evidence and acting with compassion. We consider it our mission to generate the evidence and mobilize the knowledge needed to shape the public sphere positively.
Our research includes studies of public sector careers and human resources, digitization, risk management, ethics, Indigenous governance, and whole-of-system approaches. We are the proud home of a Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Governance, the Wit-Lukutimk Wskitqamu Research Lab, the UNITE Research Lab, and the Career Motivations Research Lab.
