Communication is one of 's Core Competencies. The Communication competency is defined as “Receiving and conveying messages (thoughts, concepts, feelings, ideas, information) effectively and meaningfully.” Each week in October a Skillsoft Online video linked to the Communication competency will be featured here.
This competency states that faculty and staff be “conscious of and responsive to non-verbal communication cues”. Through this gain an understanding of your own non-verbal signals and learn to recognize and interpret those of others.
