Seeding Ideas, a seed lending library has sprouted on the ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Agricultural Campus at the Faculty’s MacRae Library, launching officially on Monday, March 17th.

The Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia (RCF) is making lasting change in rural Nova Scotia. RCF is seeking volunteer board members interested in building dynamic, healthy and prosperous rural communities.

Peter Hamilton (Class of ’44) knows what it’s like to struggle as a student. He looks back with fondness and a knowing chuckle as he relates his schoolboy days, working odd jobs to help pay his way.

Through its work, the lab, based in the Faculty of Agriculture, helps protect Nova Scotia waters from pests and provides research that supports the fisheries industry in Atlantic Canada.

With Commerce students helping lead the way, ÍøºìºÚÁÏ was the leading fundraising university (per-capita) in Canada this Movember, bringing in nearly $94,000 and winning a visit from astronaut Chris Hadfield in 2014.

The ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Faculty of Agriculture, Agricultural Campus, has raised $8,794.06
