The Campus Construction Update is a regular feature of the Weekly E-Bulletin in an effort to keep the campus community informed of any potential distruptions to regular work practices during summer construction.

Week of July 19^th 鈥� 28^th 听

Interior

Week of June 19th

Piping installation to continue in DAIRY, CUMMINGS, HALEY, NEW COX and MACRAE Buildings. (Chance of minor noise with this work)

Asbestos abatement in EXT. ENG. to allow for pipe install / pipe supports. Back wall of garage will need to be cleared.

Piping in DAIRY building in women鈥檚 washroom and over adjacent offices/storage to continue. (Expect disruption with some of this work).

Demolition to continue in HANCOCK, POULTRY, MACRAE, EXT. ENG, AQUA and NEW COX Buildings (Chance of minor noise with this work)

Civil work for concrete pads will follow in HANCOCK, POULTRY, CUMMINGS, BANTING, MACRAE, EXT. ENG., and NEW COX Buildings (Chance of minor noise with this work)

Electrical and Control work to continue throughout buildings for equipment mounting and conduit runs. BOULDING, RUMINANT, LANGILLE, HALEY, JENKINS HALL, EXT. ENG., AQUA, CUMMINGS, BANTING, and MACRAE Buildings. (Chance of minor noise with this work, hammer drilling, etc.)

A few rooms in NEW COX will need to be cleared for work, review with tenants.

Week of June 26th

Piping installation to continue in DAIRY, EXT. ENG., NEW COX, and MACRAE Buildings. (Chance of minor noise with this work)

One small piping crew to start back working in BOULDEN, CHUTE, HALEY, JENKINS, RUMINANT, and HANCOCK. (Chance of minor noise with this work)

Continue Traffic Control between Langille Athletic Center and Cox Institute (New)

Install pipe into Langille Athletic Center.

Installing pipe. This will include welding in the area..

Continue to Backfill Pipe from Langille Athletic Center to Cox Institute (New).

Continue Road Closure on Cox Road from Cox Institute (New) to Cox Institute (Old)

Continue installing pipe along Cox Road.

Backfilling Pipe along Cox Road.

Cox Road to Banting Building and excavate for pipe.

Coring Into Chamber at Banting Building.

Install Pipe to Banting Building.

Excavate across Cox Road to Library Area.

Trench to Library.

Start work in Manholes.

Loading Door Entrance will be closed from July 31-Aug 9^th for work around the exit.听 Greenhouse loading roll up door will still be accessible.
