ÍøºìºÚÁÏ's support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals has earned the university a top 200 showing in each of the six categories it competed in for this year’s THE Impact Rankings, despite a larger competitive field.

Major changes that may impact the ocean’s role as the world’s most important carbon storage depot are not accounted for in Canada’s goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, a problem that researchers at ÍøºìºÚÁÏ and partner institutions are hoping to address if successful in their application for support from the Canada First Research Excellence Fund.

Spring 2022 grads to cross the stage in May and June, with special ceremonies for 2020 and 2021 grads scheduled for July.
