Biography
Upon completing ÍøºìºÚÁÏ’s Respiratory Therapy program in 2015, Emma has worked in many different roles as a Respiratory Therapist in Halifax and Dartmouth. She has worked in critical and emergency care at the Halifax Infirmary, Victoria General Hospital, while also being Charge RT. She has worked part time at the Dartmouth General Hospital, working in all zones, including Pulmonary Function. She continued her education to become a Certified Respiratory Educator, while working at the Respirology Clinic at the Halifax Infirmary. She has vast experience in the broad scope of practice of Respiratory Therapy. Her past professional work experience, and clinical skills give her a great foundation for teaching the next generation of Respiratory Therapists. She continues to work casually at the local hospitals.
