Consent Week, held in September, is part of a national dialogue and events led by Possibility Seeds’ Courage to Act project and High School Too.

Monday September 22

Consent Information Booths – Killam Library Lobby, 11:30am-1:30pm and Shirreff Hall Residence, 4:30-6:30pm

Stop by the booth to spin the prize wheel, answer consent trivia questions, and pick up consent buttons and other helpful info. 

Tuesday September 23

Consent Information Booths – Risley Hall, 4:30-6:30pm

Stop by the booth to spin the prize wheel, answer consent trivia questions, and pick up consent buttons and other helpful info. 

Waves of Change Bystander Intervention Training Workshop – Weldon Law Building room 104, 5:30-7:00pm

This Bystander Intervention Workshop will teach you the skills to intervene, interrupt, or stop sexualized violence.  Learn how to take care of your friends and community and help create a culture that is free of sexualized violence.  Participants will receive a certificate of completion and a blurb to include on their resume/CV.  Prizes and refreshments will be provided.  Open to all ÍøºìºÚÁÏ students.

Consent Information Booths – LSC Common Area third floor, 11:30am-1:30pm

DSU SERC Sexual Violence Prevention Think Tank and Forum – Student Union Building Room 303, 5:00pm

Join the DSU’s Sexual Education Resource Centre as they host a panel and discussion about sexual violence on university campuses.

Friday September 26

FRIES for FRIES with ÍøºìºÚÁÏ Food Services – Howe Hall entrance (outside), 12:00-2:00pm

Come learn about the FRIES acronym for remembering the essential elements of consent while eating some delicious and fresh fries from Dal Food Services. 

Student Voices for Consent Society – Making Things Consent-Tea! Student Union Building Room 303, 6:00-8:00pm

Join the Student Voices for Consent Society to make a blend of tea with herbs, flowers, and roots to have on hand for self-care or study days and learn about how consent is an important part of self-care.
